◎简　　介　

　　多年前，影片仆人公弗兰克的母亲惨死于一场车祸，虽然母亲生前粗鲁的凌虐他，还以卖身为生，但弗兰克仍然驰念她，弗兰克不想让母亲分开自己，甚至希望她能悔改改过，而弗兰克在变态心理的挑唆下，将杀人视作自己的宣泄路子。
　　因而，很多无辜的女性成了这个恶魔的猎物，弗兰克剥下她们的头皮，像假发一般戴在公寓里摆放的打扮模特的头上，如数家珍的摆设起来。
　　一次在公园里，弗兰克相逢了摄影师安娜，弗兰克起头追求安娜，两人很快坠入爱河。
　　纯真的安娜更本没发觉到弗兰克残暴的罪行，在所难免成为下一个牺牲品……
　　幕后花絮：
　　·片尾出现的无头尸身是1980年《13号星期五》中杰森的母亲帕默的尸身。
　　·本片的同名主题歌在片中并未出现，而是出现在1983年的《闪电舞》中。
　　·本片导演威廉·拉斯蒂格（William Lustig）和弗兰克的饰演者乔·斯皮内尔（Joe Spinell）称影片拍摄并未获得纽约当地的答应，很多场景都是趁人不备时快速拍摄的，而且在差人到来前必须尽快撤离。
　　·达里亚·尼古洛蒂（Daria Nicolodi）曾是饰演安娜的最初人选，但她那时正在意大利拍片，没法出演本片。
　　·影片起头沙滩上的场景是从1975年《大白鲨》的片头获得灵感。
　　·为了只管下降影片的拍摄本钱，片中很多受害者和小脚色是由片女演员饰演，其中包括至今仍活跃在 界的Gail Lawrence。
