◎简　　介
　　某年，土耳其雄师压境，被围困的英国小城内，亨利剧团正在搬演吹嘘大王拜伦·慕乔森的故事，岂料戏的中途慕乔森（John Neville 饰）真身参加，他宣称此次战争完全由自己和土耳其苏丹的一个赌局引发，凭仗四名本事高强的仆从，慕乔森囊括土耳其皇室宝库，苏丹是以开战。话音未落，土耳其的炮火摧毁了戏院，慕乔森带动大众用衣裙制成热气球，带上剧团主之女萨莉（Sarah Polley 饰），踏上追求四名仆从的历险。二人到达月球，从月球之王手中救出飞毛腿，又在维纳斯（Uma Thurman 饰）的支援下拉走大力士，最初在巨鱼腹中会合神枪手与顺风耳。五人来到疆场，慕乔森引领仆从们克服光阴的腐蚀重新抖擞神力，大胜土耳其人……慕乔森的故事讲完了，戏院里的观众在他的率领下涌出城外，发现成功真的奇迹般来临。
