　　故事发生在未来天下，阿龙（拂晓 饰）和阿强（张学友 饰）都是抓捕妖兽的特警队警察，可是下属（袁战争 饰）很是重视阿龙，而对阿强就戒心重重。阿强气不外在酒吧买醉，获得了女友（李若彤 饰）的支持快慰。但是，他心头总是覆盖着阴影——本来阿强的母亲也是妖兽，后来他把这个隐蔽告诉了阿龙。阿龙也率直了自己跟妖兽幻姬（李嘉欣 饰）的一段豪情……                                    
                                尔后，阿龙在一次抓捕元大宗（仲代达矢 饰）的行动中，重逢了现已成为元妻的幻姬，情急之下却要引出重重误解。实在，元大宗是要跟人类合作的妖兽，可是还有一股液态妖兽正在肆虐地侵袭这个城市。在匹敌液态妖兽的进程中，阿龙与幻姬的豪情履历了生死的考验，可是元大宗的儿子鬼众道（张耀扬 饰）却设想离间意图消灭人类，与此同时阿强也发现了特警队的叛徒……
