◎简　　介
　　　　少年棒球队国手身世的布店老板阿隆（侯孝贤饰），他和阿贞是青梅竹马。阿贞（蔡琴饰）是某企业的高级助理员工，她总是期想着可以尽快成婚移民美国，改变今朝的生活处境，向往着美好未来。阿隆乐于帮助他人，像开出租车的少棒朋友阿钦（吴念真饰）等等。他有着浓郁的怀旧情结，常去棒球场边旁观。                                                                    　　面临四周剧烈变化的社会，阿隆和阿贞交往的是分歧人群，相互不成避免地渐有阔别，豪情出现了裂缝。后来，阿隆被倾慕阿贞的一个年轻人刺伤，单独坐在路边期待。逐步昏迷中，他恍如重新看见了加入少棒角逐的记忆画面。
