简　　介  

　　政府掉臂民意否决，执意要将陈腐安好的小镇变作一家大型化工场的地点地，并言如此可以大大增加失业机遇。有丰富企业治理经历、对党的Stefan Bednarz（Franciszek Pieczka）被录用动手这一切。小镇是Bednarz和妻子（Halina Winiarska）的故乡，两人多年前曾因一路事务分开，今Bednarz要妻子同去，被拒。
　　工场建成之初，虽有居民抗议政府的暴行，但一切还算顺遂。投入生产后，之前居民担忧的情况会日益糟糕等题目凸显，政府与居民的关系起头严重，Bednarz做中心调和人几近憔悴。而电视台导演（Michal Tarkowski）对工场的延续关注、助手（Jerzy Stuhr）将居民定见决心过滤、被迫与昔时迫使他和妻子阔别故乡的旧敌同伴工作、女儿（Joanna Orzeszkowska）的渐行渐远等工作，则令他渐渐大白自己不外是一枚棋子，萌生告退动机。
