　　漫画家格斯因癌症化疗毛发脱落，虽然他备受漫画迷的推重，但自大的他却很少与外界打仗。姐姐丽齐一向希望弟弟可以交到女朋友，因而费尽心机给格斯先容，但格斯却总是提不起精神。                                       
                                    为了自己的专栏，女记者艾米丽找到丽齐，希望她可以接收自己的采访。作为当红的感情小说作家，丽齐怅然接管。很快，丽齐发现艾米丽是一个热情标致的姑娘，因而决议把格斯先容给她。丽齐经心在家中预备晚饭，约请艾米丽来做客。虽然格斯从看到艾米丽的第一眼便被她深深吸引，但艾米丽却对格斯一点也不感爱好，特别是他的秃顶，让艾米丽没法接管。                                       
                                    斟酌到弟弟的幸运，丽齐对格斯展开了一系列的培训。从打扮配饰到生活习惯，当格斯的新发长出后，又为他设想了怪异的发型。丽齐逐日练习格斯体能，渐渐地，格斯重新到脚发生了剧变。为了引发艾米丽的留意，丽齐更是将格斯打扮成新西兰移民，并让他联系新西兰口音。一切预备停当后，只等格斯和...
