◎简　　介

　　帕特利斯·勒孔特 最出色的黑色惊悚片，探讨现代社会中的人性及人与人之间的信赖关系。本片按照比利时侦察小说家乔治·西默农的原著改编，写老成衣易尔师长常日沉默寡言，孤唯一人住在公寓里，一日，22岁的邻人姑娘皮埃莱特被人残杀于灌木丛中，平昔行为怪僻的老单身汉伊尔成了众人眼中的疑凶......                                    
                                本片可称为一部心理分析影片，侧重展现易尔与爱丽丝的心路过程，对于人物之间的本性和心理状态的揭露很有条理感，故工作节和情况的衬着都有厚重的希区柯克影子，两位首要演员在导演沉寂的基调中把演技发挥得淋漓尽致。这本小说在1946年曾拍摄过一次。
