◎简　　介　
　　刘建明（刘德华）在陈永仁（梁朝伟）被杀10个月后接管警队内部观察，被排挤权柄，加上家庭的变故，他的精神状态日就衰败，但他深信场面很快就会改变。年轻警司杨锦荣（拂晓）在同事看来是怪人一个，他正凭着过人的业绩迈向警队最高层。为了搞清楚杨锦荣的实在身份，刘建明起头对其观察。
　　刘建明渐渐发现韩琛昔日的买卖拍档沈澄（陈道明）与杨锦荣有着千丝万缕的关系，为了置杨锦荣于死地，也为了不让自己的身份曝光，渴望做个好人已久的刘建明起头含辛茹苦地找寻一个又一个证据，可是他总在最接近真相时功败垂成。

　　《终极无间》是全部《无间道》三部曲的华彩乐章。这部电影很多人都以为是后传，而这一部最大的看头就是对人物状态的刻画，剧中每小我物的本性被中充实的凸显出来，让观众感遭到了一个个饱满的亮点。相比前两部也有很多批评中很有微词，但非论若何，这是一张气概悬殊的温情牌，在整部电影中显得很有风情。比起第一部的精到和第二部的大气《终极无间》总感受少了点什么，不外虽然没有一个宏大的闭幕却可以明白到别样的感动。
