　　贝内特饰演艾玛，一位抵抗活动的斗争者，她在鼓舞马索与她一路拯救不计其数的孩子，并率领他们走出法国前往瑞士的进程中饰演了相当重要的脚色。施维赫夫饰演污名昭著的党卫军批示官Klaus Barbie，他被阿道夫·希特勒亲身指派去破坏抵抗活动，对马索和他的同伴们带到平安地区的孤儿们保有特此外憎恨。
